PTHA to develop problem gambling program

In October 2009, the Puyallup Tribe granted PTHA its X2 Gaming Compact dollars to develop a problem gambling program for the community. According to Washington State’s X2 Gaming Compact, each gaming tribe shall contribute a percentage of the net win from gaming activities to government or non-profit organizations that help reduce problem gambling. Tribal Council, realizing the negative impact of problem gambling, designated its X2 funds to help its community members.    Read more...
