After an intensive process, Puyallup Tribal Health Authority has selected an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. The selection process included:
- PTHA staff demos and workgroups
- Community forums for vendor demonstrations and hands-on look at patient portals
- Vendor functional re-quirement review and cost analysis
After the thorough selection process, the NextGen Healthcare system was chosen based on its mission to help PTHA improve quality, cut costs, streamline processes and provide optimal care to patients. EMR systems have been beneficial for many organizations to provide efficient, coordinated, safe and high-quality care. PTHA will continue to provide updated information as they implement the new system.
