In honor of Chief Leschi’s birthday, Roger Fernandez and Peggy McCloud visited.
Roger Fernandez came to parent appreciation dinner and shared some stories with parents and students. He emphasized the importance of storytelling and encouraged parents to share stories with their children. Storytelling is not only for entertainment, but is a way of teaching.
Peggy McCloud came to Friday’s K-6 circle and spoke to students about Chief Leschi the man, and what he stood for. She has been a part of Chief Leschi schools for many years and continues to visit and share with our children.
